Questions and Answers
The answers below explain the WVA’s cooperation approach in general terms. Questions about legal membership, voting rights and applications require the current constitution and an authorised response.
Does cooperation change a mission’s spiritual authority?
No. WVA’s cooperation principle respects independent lineages, gurus, leadership and institutional governance.
Does attending a meeting make an institution a member?
No. Attendance, historical reference and partnership discussions are not proof of formal membership.
Can organisations from other traditions cooperate?
Issue-specific partnerships may be appropriate where there is mutual respect and common purpose; constitutional membership is a separate question.
How can a mission begin?
Request an institutional conversation through an appropriate WVA contact channel and seek the current membership information.
Further questions should be directed to the Association’s authorised representatives. Responses about specific applications must not be assumed from this general FAQ.
