Sacred Heritage
Sacred places and living Vaisnava traditions carry cultural and spiritual value across generations. Responsible stewardship requires accurate documentation, respect for custodians, local community participation and realistic conservation plans.
Holy places
Vrindavan, Mayapur–Navadvip and Jagannath Puri are important reference points for heritage research and discussion.
Local consent
Projects should proceed only with appropriate custodial and community engagement, permissions and legal compliance.
Cultural records
Manuscripts, temple histories, photographs and oral histories need sound archival and intellectual-property practices.
Ecology and heritage
Environmental questions should be treated with evidence and respect for local perspectives and established responsibilities.
Proposed preservation priorities are not evidence that a WVA-funded conservation project has launched. Any initiative must disclose its scope, partners, resources and verified progress.
