About Me:
Srila Bhakti Vichar Bishnu Maharaj was born on September 10, 1956, in a Vaishnava family in Aliabad village, Ganjam district, Orissa, India. His parents, Khali Shyama Das and Chandramani Devi, were disciples of Babaji Radhacharan Das Maharaj. From a young age, he pursued studies in Sanskrit and spiritual arts, including puja, Puranic studies, sadhusanga, kirtan practice, and devotional music. In 1979, he received Harinama and Diksha initiation from Srila Bhakti Vaibhava Puri Maharaj, adopting the brahmachari name Ananta Krishna Das. He later took sannyasa in 1984 from Bhakti Jivan Janardan Goswami Maharaj.
Maharaj played a pivotal role in establishing and leading temples of the Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mission in Digapahandi, Vrindavan, Berhampur, and Mayapur. He has been serving as the Vice President of the World Vaishnava Association since 2004. Following the passing of his guru in 2009, he became the Acharya of the Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mission and founded the International Krishna Chaitanya Mission, expanding its reach globally. Known for his non-sectarian and respectful approach, Maharaj travels extensively, preaching pure Krishna bhakti, devotion to Sri Guru, service to Vaishnavas, and Gaudiya siddhanta to audiences worldwide.
