A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was the founder Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. He was the pioneer of Krishna Consciousness in the western world. His efforts of spreading the Vaisnava culture and philosophy outside of India are unparalleled.

Through his teachings of chanting the Maha Mantra,

and engaging in devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Shri Krishna, he has changed the lives of countless people worldwide.

He translated and published the most important vedic literatures like the Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam and Caitanya Caritamrita which have sold millions of copies in practically every language of the world. He established temples in most countries of the world in which Lord Krishna is worshipped in His many forms.
