Srivas Angan, the holy place of Khol Banga Danga, where the Chand Kazi was trying to stop the Samkirtan of Lord Chaitanya was about to reenact that pastime. Local police was misinformed and tried to stop the first Srivas Angan Mela of the Visva Vaisnava Raja Sabha WVA Gaura Purnima 1996. The District Magistrate of Krishna Nagar gave in the last minute full support to the Mela. This festival was the real beginning of the new start of the Visva Vaisnava Raja Sabha WVA, with full support from almost all local Vaisnavas and participation of Missions from all over the world.
